Windmill Update - Dedication May 12, 2008, 5 PM

Imagine a place where time is marked by the gentle turn of a windmill. Imagine Rengstorff House. Standing tall next to the tank house, the Rengstorff windmill, with 65 years of Mountain View history, will be dedicated Monday, May 12th, at 5:00 PM at the Rengstorff House, 3070 N. Shoreline Blvd. At that ceremony, the President of the Friends of 'R' House will present a deed to the Mayor of the City of Mountain View. And the windmill will make its first gentle turn at its new home. Plan to attend this historic event.
The Rengstorff History
Ginny Kaminski's book Henry Rengstorff and His Family is now available. This is the only book to trace the history of the family and would make a fine addition to your library and be a perfect gift. Ginny will be signing the book at the Spring Open House on April 20, 2008 and will enjoy talking to you about it and this pioneer family. A bargain at only $5!
The Bird Book
Another book is now available: Birds of Shoreline, an informative compendium about the birds found in Shoreline at Mountain View, their habitat and a map of the area.
